Project Overview
Chemie-Tech delivered bulk liquid storage terminal scope for Burgan Cape Terminal in Cape Town, covering tankage and associated infrastructure under an EPC model. The project reflects Chemie-Tech’s capability in terminal-led industrial infrastructure where storage, transfer and common systems have to be delivered as an integrated operating asset.
Project Context
What makes terminal projects difficult is not any single asset; it is the amount of integration required between tanks, piping, utilities, safety systems and operational handover.
Chemie-Tech Role
Chemie-Tech planned the works as one terminal system, coordinating civil, mechanical, piping, E&I and testing activities so that individual scopes progressed toward operational readiness rather than isolated completion.
Delivery Status
The EPC scope is recorded as completed, including the tankage and associated terminal infrastructure listed below.
Verified Scope
- Tankage EPC scope
