Project Overview

Chemie-Tech delivered EPC scope for Phase 2 expansion of the GPS Amsterdam terminal. Expansion inside an operating terminal demands a very different delivery model from greenfield work: each new work package has to be planned around live operations, asset protection, compliance and orderly integration with existing systems.

Project Context

Expanding a live terminal is less forgiving than building a new one. Access is tighter, work windows are narrower and every interface has to be managed without disturbing existing operations.

Chemie-Tech Role

Chemie-Tech phased the works by area and activity, isolating construction zones, coordinating shutdown-sensitive tasks and aligning new scope with the constraints of the operating terminal.

Delivery Status

The Phase 2 brownfield EPC scope is recorded as completed within the operating terminal environment.

Verified Scope

  • EPC delivery for expansion works
  • Brownfield integration and tie-ins
  • Tankage and associated terminal infrastructure
  • Utility, piping and E&I interfaces
  • Testing and handover
