Fraudulent Recruitment

Recruitment fraud from groups pretending to be Chemie Tech or claiming to represent Chemie Tech may be sent in a variety of formats, including e-mail, text, and letter.

Most often, an e-mail is sent offering employment with Chemie Tech. These e-mails often look legitimate and will include details of the employment supposedly on an offer, such as job description, salary and other benefits. They usually request payment from prospective employees to obtain visas or immigration documents. You may be referred to an organization that requests fees for processing the documents. In some cases you may be told you will be reimbursed for all the costs.

Please be vigilant to fraudulent activity if you receive such communication or e-mail regarding potential employment, or an invitation to submit applications to a public email address, supposedly from Chemie Tech. These e-mails can look authentic, with a company logo or convincing personal details taken from social networking pages. However, these e-mails have no connection with CHEMIE TECH, nor do we use these methods as part of the recruitment process.

What are genuine offers from Chemie Tech like?

Any genuine offer from CHEMIE TECH will always be preceded by a formal application and face-to-face interviews .We do not ask for bank details until the contract has been signed by both Parties. Additionally, we only ask for bank details after an offer has been officially accepted and the employee has started working. We never ask for money from job applicants.

How do I know if a job offer I have received is fraudulent?

Things to look out for include:

The e-mail or alleged contract makes poor use of language and/or contains spelling errors. It comes from an e-mail address with a different domain name than expected (e.g., an alleged job offer from Ireland comes from a Russian or Middle Eastern e-mail address). If a job offer from CHEMIE TECH is unexpected, then it is probably fake.

What should I do if I receive a fake job offer via e-mail?

Sim Card Lucky Draw/Contest Scam

• It has been brought to CHEMIE TECH' attention that certain parties have been sending text messages to mobile phone users informing them that their SIM cards have won a lucky draw prize from CHEMIE TECH.
• CHEMIE-TECH wishes to inform that none of its companies has organized any such mobile phone SIM card lucky draws or contests and would like to advise members of the public not to respond to such text messages. CHEMIE TECH has also communicated with the authorities on this matter.
